The 2010 staging of the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival will be a seven-day long celebration of The Art of Music in the resort area of Montego Bay. The event’s new home is the Trelawny Multi-purpose stadium, site of the Opening Ceremony for the Cricket World Cup in 2007.

The first four days of the event (2010 January 24 – 27) will showcase performances at multiple venues (Jamaica Pegasus in Kingston, Sunset Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios and Iberostar in Montego Bay) while the main stage at the stadium comes alive on the final three nights (January 28 – 30). This year’s stellar line-up include Queen of Soul Gladys Knight, British singer Joss Stone, Jon Secada, Debra Cox, Kelly Price, Tamia, Billy Ocean, Machel Montano as well as reggae band Third World.
